B.Ed Business Education
a) Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or General Certificate in Education (GCE) ordinary level, with passes at credit level in at least five subjects, including English Language and mathematics, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.
b) The Teachers II Certificate with credit/Merit in at least five subjects, including English Language and mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings.
c) Candidates with Diplomas (ABU), Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) or equivalent qualifications approved by the University are admitted into 200 level of course this is in addition to the requirements stated in I and II above.
Objectives of the Programme:
a) Create awareness in the students of the expectations of the teaching profession regarding business subjects.
b) Produce business teacher graduates who will be capable of:i. Effectively teaching business subjects
ii. Developing, implementing & supervising a business education programme.
iii. Developing business subjects, syllabuses.
iv. Developing appropriate instructional materials for the teaching of business subjects.
c)Contributing to the growth and improvement of the programme through research
